Watching David Attenboroughs program on Madagascar over the last 2 weeks has reminded me how incredibly priviledged I am to have seen so much of this beautiful planet and to have a wonderful wife to share my life with. We have recognised many of the paths and scenes on the program and have our own pictures of most of the remarkable animals he has shown us.

We are far from wealthy and have to work very hard to achieve our goals, but this makes life all the more rewarding. Now that those who know me are starting to know of my passsion, I am getting asked more and more to give talks and presentations about my wildlife experiences. I LOVE doing this and sharing my passion for wildlife, even if I do get a reputation for being a little crazy!

The few pictures I have included here show some of the more bizarre creatures we found on Madagascar. Of course, we saw Lemurs - no tourist can go without seeing them, and stunning though they are, there is so much more to see if one keeps a camera to hand and eyes wide open.

As you can see, Lemurs are not exactly hard to spot! All you need for shots like this is a camera in one hand and a banana in the other!
Other things in my life: Following the sad passing away of my Step Mother, My Brother, My Sister and I have had our Dads stuff passed on to us. We are having a  wonderful mix of memories as we go through boxes of old photos and letters and other paraphenalia. Some sadness, some laughter, some answers to old mysteries and new mysteries coming to light for which we may never get the answers. What we do know for sure though is that our family has an 'Interesting' past.

My work with my friend and colleague Angela, running our company Happy Lappy is going from strength to strength. We are so incredibly excited at how things are going, the many friends we are making amongst our customers and the sheer joy we get from our work make getting out of bed each day a pleasure. No day goes past when we don't realise how lucky we are. Very few people can genuinely say they love their work, but we do.

Our bathroom! Yes, still work in progress even after just over a year. BUT it is getting close now. Some painting, some flooring and a little boxing in is all that is left. All of the tiling and the sealing is now complete! Who knows, another few months and it may be finished!

Well, thats about it for this entry! Quite late at night and still 2 busy days before the weekend.
